Technical Projects
Surveillance & Reconnaissance Drone  |  Personal Project Aug 2025 - Dec 2025
Role: Lead Engineer  |  Stack: Python, Raspberry Pi 4, Arduino OpenCV, Sensor Fusion, PID Control.
  • Designed a drone with GPS navigation, a live-feed camera module, and a facial tracking system to demonstrate real-time target identification capabilities. Designed and tested a fully functional drone within 4 months.
  • System Architecture: Engineered a dual-controller avionics suite, integrating a KK2.1.5 flight controller for flight stabilization, Arduino uno for data acquisition (9-Axis IMU, GPS) and a Raspberry Pi 4B for image processing and controlling pan-tilt servos
  • AI & Computer Vision: Developed a real-time face-tracking payload using the YuNet Deep Neural Network on a 64MP Arducam capable of detecting ~100 faces at once; with high-precision face recognition at 2m and wide-area aerial reconnaissance at ranges up to 50m. Implemented PID control loops to drive a 2-axis servo pan and tilt for smooth tracking.
  • CAD & Prototyping: Modeled and 3D printed custom pan-tilt camera assembly in OnShape, featuring fits for micro-servos and Arducam camera.
Flying Wing Glider Project  |  Project manager May 2025
Role: Project manager  |  Stack: NX siemens, Google Docs
  • Project manager of a four-person team that designed, analyzed, and built a free-flight glider model
  • Performed aerodynamic analysis and calculations, including airfoil selection, Reynolds number estimation, and predicting glide ratio and range
  • Utilized NX CAD software to create a complete 3D model of the glider and produce technical drawings
  • Authored a technical report documenting the design process and presented the final design and performance analysis to the class
CAD/CFD Analysis of Hypersonic Missile Geometry  |  Personal Project Jan 2026
Role: Lead Analyst  |  Stack: ANSYS Fluent, Onshape
  • Conducted full computational fluid dynamics analysis of hypersonic missile geometry at extreme Mach numbers, characterizing shock wave interactions, pressure distributions, and aerodynamic heating loads relevant to defense-grade vehicle design.
  • Generated high-fidelity 3D aerodynamic models in Onshape and executed CFD simulation in ANSYS fluent.
  • Produced quantified drag coefficients and visualized airflow behavior
  • Computed a coefficient of drag of Cd ≈ 0.13 at Mach 5 using a 3.4M-cell mesh
Extracurriculars
Member, Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, Melbourne FL Nov 2024 - Present
